Missing PuppyA “SUBSTANTIAL reward” is being offered to anyone who can help find a missing rescue puppy.

Kay, Dowager Duchess of Hamilton and Chair of Scottish Staffordshire Bull Terrier Rescue, is putting up the reward after a friend who does voluntary work for the charity lost the animal in Tranent on December 31.

He had previously rescued the Staffy pup and was walking her, along with an older dog, at about 7am. The older dog was very lame as it had been attending the vet, so he let the puppy off the lead for a few minutes to play. However, it ran off and he was not quick enough to catch it.

The puppy remains untraced, despite contact with residents, police and the local dog warden.

Kay said:

The older dog is also missing the puppy.

The pup is micro chipped and is brindle with little white to chest. I can assure whoever gives information leading to the recovery of this pup will receive a substantial reward.
