Loretto School’s outstanding academic achievement and rigour has been recognised by one of the country’s leading independent schools’ web sites, ‘BestSchools.co.uk’. The web site attracts just under 1 million visitors a year, and is a source of crucial information for families searching for the United Kingdom’s finest educational institutions.
Such has been Loretto’s remarkable recent rise in the academic league tables, the school has been given the accolade of one of the ‘Top Scottish Boarding Schools’, appearing in the top 5 academic schools table.
Jonathan Hewat, Director of External Affairs at Loretto School, said, “We are delighted with this accolade and is due, in no small part, to the hard work and determination of both pupils and staff. Of course, there is much more to life at Loretto than examinations and league table positions. However, in an increasingly competitive world, it is so very important that pupils achieve to the very best of their ability, both inside and outside the classroom.”
