Police in East Lothian and the Borders are appealing for witnesses following a series of thefts and break-ins in the area.
Eight incidents have been reported and are believed to have occurred between Sunday, January 11, and Monday, January 12.
Outbuildings, such as sheds and garages, have been targeted and items reported missing include power tools, such as drills, and three vehicles including a white Ford Transit van, a silver VW van and a silver VW Golf.
Police are currently treating the incidents as linked.
Chief Inspector Andy Clark said:
We are keen to trace anyone seen acting suspiciously, particularly in the Haddington area, between Sunday evening and Monday morning. We are also urging anyone who may have seen any of the missing vehicles to come forward.
The public plays a massive part in crime prevention and I urge everyone to ensure that their properties, and access points to their land, as well as vehicles, are secured at all times.
Those with information are asked to Police Scotland on 101 or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
