As a follow on to the original article from last week, the team at Queen Margaret University have kindly issued a web link to a new film which has been released showcasing the university. It includes highlights from the first Children’s University Graduation in east Scotland held at Queen Margaret last week. Sixty pupils from across East Lothian attended and were presented with praise and awards for the their hard work and efforts in a range of activities held outside of usual school hours – including dancing, painting, cheerleading and much more!

Also in attendance were Fiona McLeod – Acting Minister for Children and Young People;  Mary De la Peña MBE, Chief Executive of Children’s University Scotland; Professor Petra Wend, Principal of QMU; Alan Gilloran, Deputy Principal of QMU and Callum Maguire, Head of Outreach & Community Engagement at QMU and Coordinator of the Queen Margaret Children’s University.
