He has taught students agricultural technology in Mozambique, worked for twelve years for Oxfam organising for social justice against poverty around the world, has held four different Ministerial posts within the Scottish Government, led the Labour Party in Scotland and is currently the Shadow Cabinet Secretary for Finance, Employment and Sustainable Growth – and of course, MSP for East Lothian.

I will also be talking to Mark Coyle who is a qualified Audiologist based in Edinburgh about an event coming up this coming Friday aimed at raising the awareness of undiagnosed hearing loss. Breakfast TVs Dr, Hilary Jones is teaming up with high street hearing specialists Hidden Hearing to host an all-day event at the Caledonian Hotel in the city to which the public are invited to attend.
It is estimated that there are over 82,00 people in the Scotland’s Capital alone affected by hearing loss and of those some 33,000 are undiagnosed
