In a packed but different programme this week I won’t be chatting to anyone live in the studio at all. Yes that’s right, the pressure’s off and I will be doing my own thing.

Well that’s not quite right cos I’m only on for two hours and for the third and final hour I’ll be handing the mic over to a brand new presenter here at Radio Saltire – Colin James. He will be giving you his take on a new regular spot that we are lining up for him.

SO I have decided to make this Easter Tuesday – Kylie Minogue Day and feature many of her classic tracks from the recent past

There are the usual regulars of course including at about 10.30 a look back at ‘Today in History’ to see what has happened here in the UK on 22nd. April in times past – helped along as usual by Howard and his terrific website – Beautiful Britain.

Our sojourn into the world of classical music in our Classical Corner spot this week takes us into the wonderful mind and terrific talent of one Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart with a catchy little piece called the Horn Concerto No 4 in E Flat Major or, as it is also known, K495 – Rondo (the Third Movement) which was completed way back in 1786.

As you know, I’m a self-confessed Classical Music Dummy so I have been researching this piece of music and I’ll be sharing what I found out with you – and listening to it too of course at around 11.30.

Then there’s this week’s competition. Where would we be without this week’s competition? As usual, three lucky listeners will each win a Radio Saltire Car Sticker. All you have to do is answer a simple question and email or text me during the show with your answer. All correct entries will be entered into the hat and the winners drawn out and announced at around 11.45 pm – around an hour earlier than usual!

And this week’s question is:

Which East Lothian Golf Course was used as a firing and bombing range for fighter aircraft during the 2nd. World War?

Was it a) Gullane No. 2   b) North Berwick West Links   or  c) Gifford?

Entries during the show only by email: studio@radiosaltire .orgor by Text: 07553 347 024
And don’t forget to give us a contact number so we can call you back if you’ve won and to find out where to send your sticker.

I will be opening up a link on our Facebook page too so if you would like a request or a dedication, you can post it there, email me or text me – and I’ll do my best to oblige.

So please  join me if you can on Tuesday at 10.00 a.m. with ‘AM into the PM’

Andy Morris into the Afternoon, right here – and ONLY here on Radio Saltire
