The week the Prestonpans Tapestry has been on view in the 400 year old Pinkie House at Loretto School in Musselburgh. The 104 metre long tapestry, the longest in the world, tells the story of Bonnie Prince Charlie’s journey from France to the victory at the Battle of Prestonpans in 1745. All 104 panels were sewn locally.

If you missed it, you’re in luck. East Lothian FM’s roving photographer Craig Gordon popped down to Musselburgh with his camera.

Craig said his pictures couldn’t do justice to the artwork but hopefully you’ll get a flavour of how fantastic this work really is.

East Lothian FM would like to thank Loretto School for their help and co-operation during this exhibition.
