Fish is promoting a benefit gig at St. Mary’s Parish Church, Haddington on 28th September. He’s raising money to help out the Waterloo Bistro, his favourite restaurant in Haddington, which was flooded out earlier this year.
The lade which runs past the restaurant and the nearby River Tyne burst its banks and seriously damaged the restaurant which has had to close until repairs have been completed. Although insurance has paid for the damage, a flood prevention scheme is needed to stop future damage being caused.
So listen in next Tuesday to hear more about the gig from Fish himself.
Tickets can be purchased directly from Fish’s website as well as the Tyneside Tavern, Plough Tavern and Kesley’s Bookshop in Haddington and Anderson’s Butchers in North Berwick.
